While Atlanta is now home, Los Angeles continues to have a special place in my heart. It’s where it all began: the birth of Love Bucket Photo, 20 years ago.
It’s also the place I return to several times a year to continue tracking, through images, the lives of so many families I’ve come to know and treasure.
My L.A. family photography takes me into people’s homes, where I set up my at-home studio, or use the home’s light-filled spaces, sophisticated décor and lovely garden
and pool areas as my backdrop. But I also encourage family outdoor adventures, in neighborhoods with which they identify, on beaches, in lush canyons or other
settings to which they normally gravitate.

My work in L.A. is family-focused, but I’m still available, time-permitting, for maternity and motherhood portraits which are an important part of my L.A. legacy.
With new clients, my session begins with getting to know your family and the goal of the shoot. Together, we choose a location that suits the feeling you want
– a quiet morning at home, adventurous afternoon outdoors, or simple, stylish portrait in my Studio-at-Home.
I never look for perfect poses. I look for the connection your family makes to one another, the way they move in and out of little moments that become lasting, joyful
memories.
